Driftwood Beach

When I need to get back to nature, I like to go to the beach. When I need stillness and contemplation and mystery, I go to what I call The Driftwood Beach on Nassau Inlet at Big Talbot Island State Park.

The shapes, light, and shadows of this place fill my spirit with awe and wonder. Here are a few photos I took the last time I was there.

I almost didn’t away give the name of this place, because, frankly, I’d rather you not go there and spoil it for me.

Ha ha I love your last sentence. I bet you, me and thousands of other people feel the same way. I love that place and each time I go there aren’t that many people. Luckily.

It is great to see these shots. It’s almost impossible to take bad ones at this park. Florida has amazing beaches from coast to coast, hard to say a favorite. I put Big Talbot in my top 10 of Florida.
